Got this from Hotel Du Vin and was an absolute delight to smoke.
Understandably very popular amongst cigar enthusiasts, and defo one for the humidor.

Had this at The Stafford in London, and despite a great blend of flavours, the draw was incredibly tight.
Shame really, as I?ve heard great things about Por Larranaga cigars.
Maybe it was just this odd one, but I doubt I?d want to purchase another one as there were plenty of great options on their Cigar Menu for only a few quid more.

Blackbird Crow Gran Toro Cigar - 1 Single

Never heard of these before so took a punt on a sampler. Sparked this one up and initially the taste was awful. Perservered (at cigar prices now you have to!), and it smoothed out into a really solidly nice smoke. Consistent throughout without complexity or building of flavours - just good honest smooth tobacco flavour. Good/easy draw, lots of smoke, smoked to the nub.
As a fine cigar, probably not going to challenge the best of the cubans, but quality and profile of the smoke was consistent across all of them so when I want a 'smoke', rather than an exercise in taste testing, I'll order again.

Lacking is not the word. Just smoke, veiny veiny smoke.

Tasting notes couldn't be more accurate.
Perfectly formed unit, even the cut was exemplary, light spice to it from the start and burned well staying equally as satisfying to the label and the final darker wrapper gave a deeper finish to a great smoke!

Just to preface this review, these cigars arent bad. In fact they're pretty good. The issue and why I am leaving this is a 1 star review is the price. These are made to be dirt cheap, there is a reason factory smokes are typically 1.5-3 dollars in the US. I wouldnt ever recommend buying these for much more than 10 pounds a stick and even that is abit much given much cheaper and just as good if not better options. TLDR - Over priced, only get on sale.
