Ill say it straight: too much fuss about this cigar! OK, its a very good cigar with superior qualities, but certainly short of the rave its causing. I smoked one aged for about a year and it was noticeably under others savoured in similar circumstances. NO 2 is like Big Brother on TV: too much fuss for not that much, in the end. Having said that, Id have it again any time.

Hmmmmm - update to the post below. Had another Monte 2 a couple of weeks later and - surprisingly - nowhere near as enjoyable. Think I understand the "smile on the dog" post below, now. Don`t get me wrong, still an excellent smoke, when they`re right, they`re very right. When they`re not quite right, they`re still a fine smoke, though.
