Partagas Petit Coronas Especiales Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 23 April, 2011
Lasted me just over an hour. Burn canoed and tunnelled slightly. I also had to relight it 3 times in the last 3rd. With a mild initial flavour/body that left a strong harsh bitter dry taste in the mouth after exhalation, this tasted like no other Cuban that I’ve had before and was by far the worst cigar I’ve had. I think I’ll stick to Montecristo and Bolivar, these have much more flavour with no harshness.

Great Cigar. Lasted me just under two hours. Burn seemed to canoe slightly, and then even out, then tunnel slightly, and then even out again, but this was not a big problem. Began to go a little bitter quite early, at around 2 inches left, and had to start relighting it around the same time too. Overall though, a lovely cigar. I may make a more regular thing out of its little brother, the Short.

Chinchalero Perla Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 13 April, 2011
I personally think that Chinchaleros are so underrated, but that's fine because they're so inexpensive. Great cigar, lasted almost an hour and had a perfectly even burn most of the way through. The draw was slightly tight, but good enough. One thing i've noticed with Chinchaleros in general is that once they're down to less than about an inch and a half, they become increasingly difficult to keep alight. Some nutters stop about there anyway, but i like to get as much as i can out of a cigar. Overall, great cigar...Awesome for the price. I would still prefer the Chinchalero Chicos.

Chinchalero Chicos Cigar - 1 Single

The cheapest cigar i've bought, yet one of the best. For less that two pounds, it's a bargain. A lovely 20-30 minute cigar. Due to the small gauge, it's high maintenance when it's lit.

Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill Cigar - 1 Single

This was my first cigar of this size range. Unfortunately i didn't buy it here as i wanted the humidifying tube with it (which is pretty damn good)........... perhaps this will act as a recommendation for the site :) First off, it lasted WAY longer than the 45 minutes generally claimed on this cigar, near enough an hour and a half actually. It was an absolute b***h to light (use a blowtorch rather than matches for this one), and once it was lit, it burned very uneven for the first twenty minutes, which i was very careful to rotate to even out as it burned. I think there may have been something wrong with the one i bought, as the draw was fairly tight, and i would have to go nuts on it to get a decent mouthful of smoke. The huge amount of drawing it needed for some decent smoke caused it to run VERY hot. It would probably have lasted even longer if that weren't the case. Even trying as hard as i was to keep it burning properly, it went out. So i had to brush off the ash and relight it quickly while it was warm to avoid further struggle. From there on, it was lovely. I'm

Genuinely one of the most pleasent cigars around. Sweet but not overly so, slight spicy hints and a mild fruity taste (raisin) is constant throughout/ Creamy and smooth and lasts for 40min/1hr. Packed full of flavour and always very well constructed , you will enjoy these.
