Charatan Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

Okay, I'm on the fence with this one. First third was surprisingly lacklustre, with little in the way of draw, although in its defence it did burn very evenly and consistently.
Second third and the pace started to really pick up, a medley of flavours that complimented the Cockspur rum I was drinking with it, providing a very satisfying draw at every puff. The middle of this cigar is seemingly where the action is, because...
Final third became rather disappointing. Overpowering and confusing flavours, burning a little hot, and rather tarry with bitter a aftertaste, I put the thing to bed rather than follow it through. All in, I had around 45 minutes of mixed feeling with this smoke, but I'd be keen to try another sometime to see if I just had a duff one.

Romeo y Julieta,short Churchills.what can i say.not being a cigar man ,these bad boys take on a whole new meaning too the smoking pleaure.just come back from cuba with 25 ,never going too last until next year!Think i hit the jackpot for a cigar virgin.

Trinidad Coloniales Cigar - 1 Single

Good construction; immediately pleasing to eyes, nose and fingers.
No hassle when lighting. After first couple of draws, body and flavour become apparent; warm, full; slightly spicy, leather and coffee with a slight pepper... through hearty and cheering leather, cocoa and pepper to woody, still creamy, peppery and gentle leather flavours.
I smoked this cigar with a spiced rum; it complimented the softer elements of the flavour.
I've only a young palate, so I hope to enjoy this cigar in a few years time, after a little more practice.
To conclude: Yes. Ever-so-slightly-cheaper than other equivalent, recommended, big-name smokes, without being inferior.

I bought a 3 pack of these in malaga for 15 euros and let me say this is a king amongst smokes. This is what all habanos should work from because of the uncany resembalance to one another because i was smoking with my father and we were both smoking the monte 4s and he placed his cigar on my side of the ashtray and i didnt even notice that it was a different cigar!! next time i will order in larger quantitys because this one is a true finger burner.

No ne else wants to rate this cigar?? Ok, Ill do it again :-) I live in New Jersey, Where the winters are cold and brisk, This normally would not be a size of choice however, I find myself smoking one a day on my roll home from work. I have never been so satisfied with a cigar of this size, It has all the flavors of a cohiba but much much more, At a few points my palate was overwhelmed with caramel, Lots and lots of sweetness with a little spice. Love Love Love this cigar, Split a box with my friend Steve and i will ask him to rate this also! This cigar deserves it!!!
