Romeo y Julieta Petit Churchill Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 19 September, 2014
I am new to the world of cigars - this is my first review! The R&J Petit Churchill is the first cigar I have smoked that wasn't the regular corona shape; perhaps the slightly larger gauge was the reason I found this one a little more difficult to get a good light. Once lit it burnt well, I think I only had to relight twice, both times were really just precautionary re-heats. I enjoyed the pre-light draw, a lot of flavour and a very easy pull - Although I didn't do this on my previous smokes, so I have nothing to compare it to! The first half was pleasant enough, very smooth and with a raisin flavour coming through. I don't have a particularly sensitive palate, so it was nice to be able to pick up a bit of flavour with this smoke. There was occasionally a slightly herbaceous taste creeping in around the half-way point. Finally, there were mild coffee flavours - the last third being the most enjoyable. I'd thought that the Petit Churchill would be very spicy on the lips, but it was surprisingly mild in that sense. All in all an enjoyable 40-45 minute smoke, although I w

Inka Secret Blend Blue Robusto Cigar - Bundle of 10
Date Added: Thursday 18 September, 2014
Really impressed, I have been smoking Cubans for 30 years and I do not know if I have become jaded or over fussy but cant help but think that quality/taste and all round smoking experience of Cuban cigars has diminished over the years. Being a bit financially straightened at the moment I asked Cgars to propose an alternative which is why I ended up buying a packet of the Inka Secret Blend - Azul Blue - Robusto Cigars. While maybe not being quite as full bodied as a Partagas or Bolivar they came pretty close to what I remembered those brands used to be like, a revelation, well bound cigars which smoked well without unravelling, no unpleasant bitterness half way down, good draw, no "fruity or chocolaty" flavours (who would want their cigars to taste of fruit and chocolate anyway?), just good old fashioned pleasant tobacco flavour. They may not offer the full Cuban experience but they come pretty damn close at a fraction of the cost.I will be repeat buying these.

Montecristo Puritos Cigar - Pack of 5
Date Added: Wednesday 17 September, 2014
Have to say that these are a gem of 'quick' smoke, how anyone could want anything out of a supermarket in comparison to these is beyond me. Sure they aren't as deep in flavour as larger fuller gauge cigars but then that's not what they're about, these are for me a chance to have a smoke on a day-to-day evening when time or occasion does not permit a 'proper' cigar, but for the price and the quality (for a small cigar) I'm pretty amazed. Smoked slowly 15mins, an easy 10mins and very little bitterness at the end.

Inka Secret Blend Red Robusto Cigar - Box of 10
Date Added: Tuesday 16 September, 2014
As I am just finishing my 2nd of these delightful Robusto sized Inka Secret Blend Rojo Red I had to put this review up to go alongside many others in regards to the quality, flavour and price. In all honesty I doubt that a Robusto can be put forward to challenge this cigar based on cost and most importantly, quality. This Robusto is fantastic. The draw from the beginning to the end is lovely and you get around 2 inches of ash and when it falls you are presented with a tip surrounded by a light grey ash. The first third is very much in the middle taste wise, but you can start to get the flavour profile leading into the 2nd third and last third which are a delicious medium all the way to the end. The only caution is the wrapper leaf is a little fragile I have found. These Robustos can stand shoulder to shoulder with many of the main producers including the Cuban benchmark. For me, I will always have this cigar in my humidor. Buy one and try for yourself!
