Leon Jimenes by La Aurora Petit Corona Blond (Vanilla) Cigar - Box of 10
Date Added: Monday 09 May, 2016
An Interesting Cigar, unique in being handmade and Flavoured. A small cigar but it would be a mistake to think this cigar a short everyday smoke, I took a good 45 minutes as I had been advised this would really let the flavours of the cigar express themselves. It is sound advice, this cigar has a very strong coffee taste on the inhale that is then muted by a wonderful subtle vanilla sweetness on the exhale that coats your lips (not in a chemical way). It is best described as a Vanilla latte really nice smoke. That being said if this cigar was rushed then that coffee earthy taste would overpower and become very harsh spoiling what is a very nice cigar that is also on the stronger side of a medium tasting cigar which was also a surprise. As you get to the second half (not big enough for thirds) the earthy coffee inhale develops a very subtle peppery kick changing the taste to a spiced vanilla latte again a very nice surprise given that most flavoured cigars tend to be nasty, I do wonder if this cigar is infused rather than flavoured as that would account for the much better ta

Inka Secret Blend Blue Bombaso Maduro Cigar - 1 Single

I enjoyed the first third but had to fight with some harsh bitterness from there on in. Struggled a bit with uneven burn in the middle. As a result I've got to give this cigar a 3 star rating. However you do have to factor in the price in order to be fair. I would suggest you try one of these just in case you like them as they are by no means a poor example. Let's face it , if you try and like them then you have found a fantastic value for money item. It's up to you, got to be worth a stab at one or two to see.

Inka Secret Blend Red Cristales Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 08 May, 2016
Just finished one of these this evening. For the price I will say it was good, however others in this range are much more pleasing. The ash dropped about half way through, but the draw was not as easy as I'd expected. For the first half I felt like I was nursing this cigar rather than enjoying it. Not much smoke coming from the cigar and not much to taste. Once the ash dropped it became slightly easier to smoke, but I feel the first half set the tone for the experience. The cap ripped slightly while I clipped it, which also hindered the experience.

Inka Secret Blend Red Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single

Purchased one of these along with a few other Inka cigars, but this was by far my favourite one. A great smoke, really easy draw, and a nice big plume of smoke the whole time. I will be ordering this again.

Oliva Serie V Melanio Gran Reserva No. 4 Petit Corona Cigar - Box of 10

I am sad that the last reviewer had a bad one, I have smoked 3 of these and I will be getting more, as the one thing that DO have is bags of flavour .also a good burn, lots of smoke that tastes so good I don't want to blow it away. I you love a full flavoured Cuban , as I do, its nice to mix up the humidor a bit with some good new world sticks as well, so I say go on treat yourself.....

H. Upmann Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 30 April, 2016
Got a couple of these recently for a holiday next month - since they arrived I have been eager to try one after all the positive reviews, and as the wife wasn't feeling too well and decided to go bed early, I did the loving husband thing and took the opportunity to slip away to my man-cave and try one out (or, the official line, to let her get a few hours uninterrupted sleep before I came to bed...) Wow! What a superb little cigar. The flavour was right there from the start (thankfully, on such a small stick) and I found it evolved constantly throughout the half hour or so it lasted me (I wasn't paying particularly close attention to the clock...) Burn was perfect, with no touch-ups needed. Draw was a little tight, but that wasn't a terrible thing on a little one like this. The cigar itself was absolutely delicious. Grass, caramel, dark chocolate, honey and coffee appeared at various points (there were a few draws that reminded me particularly of a caramel latte) Throughout the entire cigar there was also plenty of cream and nuts (at one point, it was specifically walnut).
