Oliva Orchant Seleccion Skinny Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 15 January, 2015
I have just had one of these in the Cambridge store, and found it to be a lovely well balanced smoke. Spicy on the tongue with strong coffee notes for the 1st inch, it then slowly goes into a smooth woody smoke. As I said very well balanced.well done a winner.

Oliva Orchant Seleccion Sampler - 3 Cigars
Date Added: Wednesday 14 January, 2015
Took delivery of a sampler pack and a box of 10 Shorties on Monday. I am what was described as a 'Newbie' to the world of cigars and have been working my way through a variety of Cuban and New World Cigars since May last year. I had one of these last night for the first time and can honestly say that it was of of my most enjoyable smokes so far. Cut and then smoked over a leisurely 55 minutes, the draw was consistent, it retained its ash without the need to relight and had a wonderful smooth taste and flavour through to the end. I am still finding my favourite from the array of quality cigars available but this is definitely high on my list!

Cohiba Siglo II Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 14 January, 2015
Cohiba siglo II has a nicely applied triple cap nice firm pack and a gorgeous foot as for the wrapper it is a lovely milk chocolate, a little toothy and the band is applied perfectly, the aroma is sweet hay and coco once I'd cut the cap off the stick I took a pre light draw the cigar had a beautiful peppery taste with a little spice also a sight ceder and honey mixing in. Once I toasted the cigar the aroma is a nice ceder as for the first enital taste notes there's a mild coffee mixed with ceder note there's also a slight paper taste on the finish and a subtle hint of coco. 27 mins in entering the second third lots of rich smoke out put flavour wise a nice milk chocolate and a creamy notes with that coffee and ceder being pushed back almost unnoticeable now also mixed in a sweet honey on the draw and the finish that of which is a little short as for the ash it's a bit flaky but fell off in a nice solid chunk. 40 min in entering the final third burns a little wonky but there's no need to touch up just yet flavour wise the coco and coffee has now mixed together to make a mocha flavo

Guantanamera Cristales Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 13 January, 2015
Tonight I'm smoking the guantanamera cristale which was given to me as a gift to my surprise the cigar had loads fuzz on the Wapper so it must of been kept in a good humidified state once I asked the person who gave me the stick he said it was over 20years old! Well into its vintage years. after inspecting the stick further it had a lovey even pack and a pre cut cap that of which had a lovely draw other than the the wrapper was very toothy and a gorgeous milk chocolate colour, the pre light aroma is a mouth watering ceder and honey the pre light taste was even more spectacular a lovely ceder and dry hay with that honey too can't wait to light this stick as it should be a very smooth smoke due to its age. Once i toasted the stick the ceder is apparent with the honey mixed in and a very unique taste that iv never experienced before think about wet freshly cut grass well it tastes like that very usual not mass smoke out put but what smoke is there is delivering a nice coating on the pallet and just as I thought that smoke is very smooth 20 mins in and entering the second third the a

H. Upmann Coronas Major Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 07 January, 2015
Please ignore my comment of Sunday 21 December, 2014. It was meant for the H. Upmann Coronas "Junior". I haven't tried a "Major" yet, but I'm a lover of the "minor". Sorry for the error. Oooops !

H. Upmann Majestic Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 06 January, 2015
Hugely disappointed, I bought a sample pack variation which included 2 Upmann Majestics. One of them had a rougher build quality (flared end and slightly looser than the other) so I thought "what the hell" and took it with me on a walk. From lighting, the cigar gave me a real headache. A severe tunnel formed in the first third causing an irregular burn which hollowed its way through the core. Drastic measures neccesary, so I chopped off some of the cigar and relit it, only to get the same problem again. Tried to correct but a hole was present all the way down the centre of the cigar. Ended up stubbing it out in frustration.. Hope the other one smokes better. A real shame.
