had good expectations for this after reading the glowing reviews. but the stick was rock hard and tasted really bitter

Well probably one of the worse cigar i have had from cgar yet. No flavour, dreadful burn as it kept tunneling and had to be nursed back and then got so hot with about 1 1/2" left i had to put it down, which isn't great for a short cigar. I will say great thick creamy smoke but that was it. I don't know if i just got a bad one which i know can happen but its not an experience i want again. On the plus side i have spoken with Mitchell who has offered me an alternative replacement which will be appreciated so because of the great customer service it will be a 2 star review.

Bought these to try as I like the Picadillor and Novillo vitolas in this blend and I must say that I enjoy these as well, since they make for a nice morning or afternoon smoke with some good coffee or cappuccino.
The only issue I have found is a bit of inconsistency with the draw of the cigar, sometimes they have been rolled or pressed a little too tightly or for too long, but other times the draw is just right and allows for a better taste of the blend.
Still a good smoke though for the money and are definitely worth a try for anyone's palate.

Loved it, exceptional flavour. I got toffee coming through strongly with toasty biscuit flavours in the background, that's the best way I could describe it, combined with the rich and fragrant aroma of well seasoned Cuban tobacco. Definitely some mild fruit flavours in there also. After my first one, I can say this is one of my favourite little cigars, I would definitely take one of these over the Monte #4.

Unfortunately my cigar tunnelled but I believe this to be resultant of too intense of a heat upon lighting, with the core becoming hotter than the outsides (I used a triple jet flame) But my word, the flavours were to die for. A wonderful host of rich flavours, I don't need to repeat exactly what they were as this is clear from the other reviews. The bad burn was unfortunate but I believe it to have been my fault, it will not put me off buying plenty more.

What a fantastic cigar! On the first puff I got a huge hit of chocolate and coffee, almost with a cake-y type taste to it. As the smoke progressed I got a whole host of wonderful rich sweet & savoury flavours, with both dark and milk chocolate type tastes appearing throughout. Immediately this has become one of my favourite smokes and I will be purchasing a box as soon as possible.
