Enjoyed one of these beautiful cigars the other evening in the company of my best friend, over a couple pints in the pub garden on a warm evening. Id forgotten just how lovely these cigars are and these had been in my humidor for a good couple of years. Expensive, but worth the money and now not easy to come by especially in boxes of 25. Lovely, lovely thing, but will spoil you for anything else! Sublime!

wow! a very pleasant smoke. No tight draw and nice even burn. Well worth trying. If you dont dry this cigar- you are missing out on this little beauty.
Would buy this cigar again.

My first impression was 'this is a bit thin' - no doubt because my preference is for strong, full bodied tobaccos. However, I am now on my third bowl of this all day tobacco and am beginning to get the hang of it. The flavours are subtle and interesting and it is such a mild smoke that I could easily smoke it all day long.
Of course three bowls are not really enough for a definitive critique as I have before found that tobaccos I first found rather bland had become firm favourites by the end of the tin. I think this might well be one of them.
I could certainly recommend this to a beginner.

When you read in the description of a tobacco "perfect for blending with flavoured tobaccos" you know it's not going to have much of its own. I occasionally substitute this for my favourite straight Virginia, Royal Yacht, just for a change. It is an ok tobacco, mild, cool smoking and definitely benefits from a few drops of Bourbon to tweak what little flavour it has.
Since it is sold loose and because the quality does seem to vary somewhat it is fair to say that when fresh it merits four stars. Alas, this month's delivery was a bit dry and at best deserves no more than three.

A nice good quality short smoke, far better value than others of the same size.

The construction on this cigar was nothing short of phenomenal, the draw was perfect, the burn was razor sharp and the ash held on for just over an inch at a time. I was taking long deliberate draws about once a minute and this cigar easily gave me 45 minutes of enjoyment, but Im quite a slow smoker because Im such a lightweight when it comes to nicotine. The flavours under the description are fairly accurate; a nutty-ceder from start to finish, quite subdued and quite palatable for a rookie smoker like me, on the retrohale the ceder came in much stronger but not so much that it overwhelmed me or burnt out my nostrils. The one I smoked this evening was probably more on the light-medium side, the flavours are pretty basic and there is no real complexity or development to speak of but for the price I feel like I got tremendous value and enjoyment. A great budget stick in my opinion.
