I’m new smoking with a pipe.
It’s more of a skill and art form than many might imagine.
This has been one of my best tobaccos out of the three I bought.
It’s relaxing yet can stimulate your philosophical senses.
The taste isn’t overpowering and it stayed lit well, whereas my other tobaccos where a little more challenging being new to pipe smoking. This one I’d advise for someone new to using a pipe.
It also mixes very well with L&B Menthol normal cigarette tobacco which made a good companion and mixture for my tastes!

Very nice. Quite strong, but lots of dark flavours here, cocoa and pepper. Build quality and burn good also - only two ash falls in 25 mins! 5 Stars therefore.

I bought this cigar as a bit of an experiment. I had heard via youtube you could cut it in half and share or save for later.
This I did and what a great result. Smoked them both with an IPA during a chess game, outside in the South Hams. It has woody and leather overtones, some roundness. More of a medium smoke rather than a strong smoke. Great burn, easy draw, each half was approx 10-15 mins. These will travel with me as they are easy to look after along with their boxed stable mate. I will be buying more to share.

H. Upmann Majestic Cigar - 1 Single

After going through the ordeal of being retired on health grounds I haven decided to spend my time enjoying cigars, while my health alliows me. Both my late grandfather’s smoked pipes and used to give me the occasional King Edward cigar. I always found them bitter and put me off. On my 21st Birthday I was given a box of Havana’s that I remember enjoying at the time. Thanks to Callum’s (Chester’ shop) YouTube recommendation saying the H Upmann Majestic is a “anytime cigar” I ordered 3 to try. No bitterness at all and easy to smoke right down to the final half inch. A have a new hobby!!

Not terrible but the cherry is only present pre-light and for the money you can get much higher quality cigars, I found the smoke quite harsh but strangely bland. I certainly wont be purchasing anymore.

I reckon that as far as this vitola is concerned this stick is a steal.
For this smoker Joya will remain a template of Nicaraguan taste profile and this is simlarly milky, light and enjoyable; Davidoffs delicious but overpriced offering be damned.
Draw is quite loose and it might not be as well packed as some slightly pricier cigars but burn was even in this case, smoke flavoursome, though given a tad uneven filling I wouldnt be surprised if some required more work than others.
Ash dropped naturally an inch in and never faltered.
Its a big, nice, mellow cigar without much depth, sure, but really pleasant and worth the price.
