Quality cigar. Sweet smooth tones, but can definitely feel there is still some strength there. Construction was perfect, as you would expect from Oliva. 1 burn touch up, which is excellent. Would highly recommend!

Having smoked and enjoyed one or two of this brands Robusto, I bought a bundle of twenty five. A goodly number of them, more than ten were, so badly constructed as to be totally impossible to smoke. They were packed with stalks and something odd that looked like a pale, squashed snake. I told C.Gars about them, realising it was not their fault but asking if they would pass my complaint to the manufacturer. That must have fallen down a deep well because I heard nothing about these cigars. If these are going to be as badly made in the future, I would never, ever buy any again.

If youre looking for a value smoke look no further. Great taste and smooth pull. Ill be trying the larger one next time.

Great taste. I had issues with uneven burning throughout and the experience was lessened a bit having to constantly maintain it. Other than that a great value cigar and Ill definitely be ordering again.

San Cristobal La Punta Cigar - 1 Single

Delicious after a light lunch. I hadnt tried a La Punta for years, so sampled one at Turmeaus lounge. Well aged and covered in bloom over its light and slightly rustic wrapper. The draw was easy with just a little resistance, but the smoke remained cool and delicious with a good burn. The first half was light-medium bodied and built up slightly in flavour also, with beautifully balanced waves of light roasted coffee, honey, toasted almond and soft pepper spice. The second half became much more medium bodied developing an oaky woodiness, dry grass and herbal notes with a small burst of spice at the end. Smoked it to my fingertips. Often overlooked, but these can be excellent and age beautifully.

Beautiful cigar - so surprising!
Great draw and smoke output - much more complex than expected - walnuts and spice on the retrohale - great flavours of chocolate and leather - balanced and meaty! Please give this at least a month in your humidor before you smoke it and do away with that box it comes in. One of my top 5 cigars ;-)
