Regius Corona Cigar - 1 Single

My first impressions of the Regius corona cigar is a well constructed cigar with a tight roll. A little niggle about the cap, it was too small! After cutting the rest of the cap peeled away. After lighting I noticed the draw was loose and supplied a sufficient amount of smoke. The taste in the first third was of a sweet nutty flavour, slightly peppery which was pleasant. The second third was of woody notes. Half way through it started to side burn which I had to touch up with a lighter which led to the first ash fall, closer inspection it came apparent that there was a bit of an air gap which explained the side burn, easily corrected and a consistent smoke afterwards. The final third earthy notes came through with a slight sweetness with two more ash falls. Overall this was a subtle smoke with a good burn throughout with the one issue, wasnt over powering in the slightest. Id definitely buy this cigar again for my humidor especially for the price.

Oliva Serie V Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single

Beautiful from start to finish.
Im not an everyday smoker, maybe one a week two if im being naughty, so its always good to have a smoke that is good from start to finish.
The beauty had a lovely even burn throughout, produced a lovely amount of smoke without being too much, the flavours were subtle and enjoyable. I enjoyed it with a nice coffee, but would pair nicely with a good whiskey of your choice. Maybe a Bowmore No. 1, or Jura Seven barrels.
Lastest around 45 minutes with a leisurely drag, long enough for my wife to come looking for me in the shed
My only complaints are it had to end and I only bought the one.

Absolutely loved this smoke, this was my first ever pipe tobacco, lovely fresh smell and taste never wears off

I’ve had a few of these sat around for around 5-6 months, so I decided to smoke one!
Nice even burn upon lighting. First tasting notes (Pepper, Strong Coffee, rich intense cream)
I paired this cigar with some Lindt Milk Chocolate after dinner along with a coffee.
Half way through, consistent taste, stronger peppery notes coming through, less coffee, maintaining a creamy finish.
Towards the end, Earthy, nutty flavouring with intense peppery notes, not too overpowering on the palette.
This is a novice review and these are the flavours what I personally tasted throughout this short, enjoyable experience.
Nice short smoke, enjoyable with a coffee especially, the chocolate have a hint of sweetness to the experience and is something I enjoyed!

Jose L Piedra Brevas Cigar - 1 Single

Outstanding cigar for the money! Confirms again, that Cuban cigars are the best in the world. I have tried top brands from Nicaragua, Dom Rep, and Honduras in my quest for cheaper cigars that deliver on taste and all New World cigars fall short of the mark perhaps with the exception of Arturo Fuenta.
I enjoyed this so much, I cant wait to try Jose L Piedras other sizes. RECOMMENDED - dont hesitate to buy.

These are one of my fav smokes...Ive just had one today whilst remodeling my garden with a coffee :)
I have to agree with Jennifers review about the cheesy smell, at first I thought it was me but she has just confirmed its not(please dont let that put you off).
Anyway, back to the cigar...great size, lovely smooth draw, slightly sweet taste including mild creamy nutty/vanilla and lots of smoke and these can last me anything from 30-60 mins.
like I have said these work for me...give them a try, they might be right up your street also :)
