Quintero Petit Quintero Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 06 October, 2019
This came as part of a selection and initially seemed a bit dry yet spongy. After three weeks in the humidor I tried it this mid morning with a coffee on a pleasantly sunny breezy October Sunday. It is quite loosely wrapped and on cutting the wrapper flaked a little- not a good start I thought but it pleasantly surprised me. It lit easily, burned evenly and was not surprisingly an easy draw due to it being loosely rolled. Despite the breeze the ash stayed on until half way. I like a mild aromatic cigar in the morning and this was up to the mark. On my palate it was a little chocolatey and then mildly peppery as it progressed. I put it out before the last quarter as it was beginning to become a little bitter. It burned rapidly so only lasted the time took me to drink two medium size mugs of coffee. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and wouldn’t turn one down if it was offered to me. Would I buy more ? While I can afford an Upman, probably not but don’t let that put you off trying one.

Quai d Orsay No. 54 Cigar - 1 Single

After my disappointment yesterday with an H Upmann Minor J this evening was the opposite with a lovely No54. Quite mild, but easy to light with an easy draw and smooth taste. This has moved into the favoured category for future buying

Decent cigar considering the use of short filler, notes of chocolate on the cold draw, good woody, sweet smoke but you do get what you pay for.

Quorum Classic Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 09 June, 2019
As someone who is new to cigars and doesnt have a big budget to spend, Im very much a review buyer, looking at what is getting highly rated in my price range, so seeing the reviews on these I decided to order one. Unfortunately after trying it I was very dissapointed, right from cutting it, it was very flaky, with the outside layer starting to peel, lighting it took some patience and multiple attempts then when it did light it was an uneven burn, with very bitty ash and a heavy draw!! Overall not a good looking cigar and not an enjoyable smoke. For someone new to cigars I would definitely recommend a Nicaraguan La Invicta or a Conquistador corona instead

Quorum Shade Grown Short Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 26 February, 2019
Delightful little cigar, well made but a bit of squish. Draw was very light, maybe too little resistance for me but did not negatively affect my experience. Mild nutty/woody flavours and pleasant room note. Smoke is light, ash is dark grey and fragile. Duration was about 20m. All in all not bad and VFM.

Quorum Maduro Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 17 February, 2019
Nicely presented good looking cigar. Construction was good as was the draw and the burn. Unfortunately this cigar just wasnt to my liking - its way too earthy and the other detected flavours faded too soon making the cigar unbalanced. Sadly didnt detect any spicy coffee either. This was my third Quorum and they have all been either horrid or very disappointing. As budget cigars go I feel theres better out there. Feel other reviewers ratings are somewhat generous. Not recommended.
