Medium to full bodied but not harsh. Toasty, leathery and well-constructed with a good draw and even burn. This is one of the best examples of Cuban robustos.

A well made, well aged D #4 is a flavorful, soft but fullbodied, smoke. The aroma is toasty and rich, and the draw is easy. My experience is that consistency has been unreliable. Ive had boxes that were full of tight, poorly rolled, almost green, cigars, and others that were superb all around. Could the poor ones have been counterfeits? Its certainly possible, even from the reputable dealer I buy from...so buyer beware and dont buy them sight unseen. All that aside though, a good Partagas D #4 is a truly fine cigar. Hand pick them, age them, and enjoy.

A well made, well aged D #4 is a flavorful, soft but fullbodied, smoke. The aroma is toasty and rich, and the draw is easy. My experience is that consistency has been unreliable. Theres a few reviews here which say "best robusto ever full stop" and - cynical black hearted old cad and rotter that I am - I agree with them. I was astonished at the depth, maturity and power in this stogie - the "wow" factor is enormous. Perfect draw, exceptionally rich, smooth blended earthy and woody tastes - unbelievable. If youve ever become jaded about the state of Cubans of late, light up a Partagas Serie D No 4 and prepare to be astonished.... and theres another in the humi. Good news, eh ???
