Plasencia Alma Del Fuego Candente Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 15 May, 2020
Wow, I might stop buying cubans, dark chocolate with enough spice to keep it interesting. Only 4 stars from me however, a slightly uneven burn, and slightly bitter in the last third, but that was probably due to me smoking too fast because it was so delicious. I will buy more to see if aging can get it the 5th star.

Plasencia Reserva Original Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

Very smooth medium smoke, creamy with a touch of sweetness. Wood, vanilla style first two thirds developing in toffee, treacle type flavours in the final. Really solid, consistent and attractive stick. Highly recommend.

Nice and smokey, a little bit of sea salt with a peppery kick at the end. Relatively smooth but the smoke lingers but very tasty

Plasencia Alma Fuerte Robusto I Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 05 May, 2020
An enjoyable robusto. Very dark flavours of wood, earth, cocoa powder, burnt leather and black pepper. A very slight hint of cream came and went. Not quite to my taste and I found the flavours overall a little dry and boring, though nothing bad or harsh. I prefer the Alma del Fuego, particularly the Flama, myself as it seems to have a little more liveliness and character.

Plasencia Alma Del Fuego Flama Cigar - 1 Single

Very enjoyable. I slightly prefer this over the Candente robusto format as the slimmer gauge seems to work better with this kind of blend for me, seeming to be slightly more balanced and focused. Earthy, coffee, pepper, sweet spice and some occasional almond and cherry/stonefruit hints that come and go. There is also a slight underlying taste throughout that is something akin to charred meat. Lovely deep rosado wrappers.

Padron Damaso No. 8 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 05 May, 2020
For lovers of very mild cigars. If you enjoy Connecticut shade or most Dominican Davidoff type cigars, this is a must-try for you. Personally not quite enough flavour for my tastes but it was still enjoyable for me. Perfect construction, very smooth, if sickly pale, wrapper with a slight sheen. Some hints of that general Padrón natural type flavour in there but generally some light cedarwood, hay, pepper and citrus hints. Into the second half a bit of baked dough type flavour came in. To be smoked slowly, otherwise the pepper bite and some heat can overpower the flavour somewhat.
