Padron 1926 Series No. 9 Maduro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 02 July, 2025
I enjoyed this cigar but I definitely prefer the 1964 Maduro. This vitola of the 1926 is a very good cigar, but I would say the 1964 is a great cigar. The 1964 has more pronounced chocolate notes and expresso. I am very happy I tried this cigar and I enjoyed it down to the nub but I will stick to the 1964 and family reserve from now on.

Nice smoke, no real change throughout, smooth, biscuity, some sweetness. Holds ash really well. For the price I will be getting some of these again.

A little unsung gem that gets better the more you smoke. For me, this cigar started off as a medium strength with a little bit of a tight draw alongside flavour notes of earthy wood, subtle bitter sweetness akin to rich dark chocolate mixed with warm black pepper in the first third. After the first third, the cigar became really calm and light with both the strength and draw becoming light and smooth. The flavour profile mellows out, despite not being overpowering in the first place. Overall this is a smooth, comfortable and calm cigar that is a joy to smoke from start to finish.

PDR Flores y Rodriguez 10th Anniversary Reserva Limitada Millerfleur Corona Cigar - 1 Single

This one is a real delight to have! Even being a medium to full strength, it is incredibly smooth. The flavour notes I got were cedar, a subtle creamy sweetness and some warm pepper. It had an even draw, quality construction, with a flavour profile that is consistent and fairly well balanced. On top of this, the price point is phenomenal and that makes this cigar a great choice to treat yourself to.

A very nice little package as a very irregular and inexperienced smoker, an easy half in ash (before I dropped it while sneezing) paired this with a nice sweet rum. Overall like the 2 previous reviews say nice little package with a good burn time while not breaking the bank
