Montecristo No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 15 May, 2011
Wasn't really impressed with this. There are cigars of 'lesser' brands which are just as good for far less. I found it to be a very mediocre smoke.

Montecristo No. 5 Cigar - Box of 25
Date Added: Wednesday 27 April, 2011
Well it's quite simply a wonderful smoke.Construction and draw perfect and burn as near perfect as makes no difference,I just had to gently touch the wrapper down one side briefly after I lost the first ash.Fantastically cool and smooth smoking experience with a growing intensity of sweet and spicy as the cigar developed. Not terribly complex as you might expect for a 40 RG but as a go to everyday smoke when there's a spare 40 minutes to kick back with then these are very well worth it.

As I am doing the rounds of tubed cigars, I highly recomend this cigar. Good flavor, not too strong. Great burn too. It lasted a hour+

Montecristo Puritos Cigar - Pack of 5
Date Added: Thursday 17 March, 2011
Not a bad little machine-rolled cigar at all, and an everyday "supermarket standard" for me. Large enough to get a decent amount of flavour from, with consistent quality and a pretty easy draw. Not as complex a cigar as a hand-made one costing far more, but pretty decent all the same. Be aware though that if your usual fare is Henri Winterman or similar mild, small "Dutch" short-fillers, these are quite a bit stronger. I've rated this cigar against its competitors in roughly the same price range - the likes of Winterman, Castella, Villiger etc. Against a long-filler costing somewhat more, of course I'd rate it lower; but compared to its competitors it's not bad at all.

Meharis by Agio Red Orient Cigar - Pack of 10
Date Added: Saturday 26 February, 2011
I bought these from a supermarket and have to admit that they are very pleasant. They have a spicy taste with a very pleasant aroma, they do burn hot but this makes that spicy flavor seem infused with roast nuts and coffee. The flavor makes a pleasant change from the normal cigar, worth a try at least once!

Montecristo Puritos Cigar - Pack of 5
Date Added: Tuesday 22 February, 2011
As a new cigar smoker I have been trying a range of cigars and it was suggested I give these a go. The first one out the pack was rubbish. It looked and tasted like an old stick, was very loose and fell to bits after a short time. However, the rest have been really good. Nicely flavoured from start to finish and for less than £6 a pack, worth a try. I'll give them 3 out of 5 stars because for the ever shortening lunch break they are ideal. (And at this price I don't even mind if I hand one or two out)
