Montecristo No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single by Simon

This is my first Montecristo No.2, and I can sat without any hesitation that it will not be my last, (God willing of course). A beautifully constructed cigar amongst the best I have ever seen at any price. The draw is as Bill mentions in his review, is simply heavenly, cool and easy with no effort required whatsoever. The flavour is full with a lovely balance of spice, nuttiness and creamy cedar, even my wife commented on how lovely the smell from it was and that's no mean feat! The burn is even with no need to re-light even when left for a few minutes. This is a treat even amongst the very finest of cigars and one that in time, I will come to look upon as an old friend, who's company while not frequent is very much welcome. The Montecristo No.2 is a very fine cigar with a well deserved reputation which it happily lives up to and exceeds, if you haven't yet tried one, you really should do so, as you are missing out on a bonafide giant killer. I cannot wait to see another in my humidor!

Montecristo No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single by Stuart

Great tasting cigar, but i've had a couple that are too tightly packed. Sometimes a great smoke...but often, an awful draw. I'd buy them all the time if the build quality was better.

My Father Flor De Las Antillas - Belicoso Cigar - 1 Single by Staff

My Father, Flor de las Antillas is one of my personal favourite Nicaraguan hand-made premium cigars and is mild to medium in strength. Very well constructed using a lovely Sun-grown wrapper and different tobaccos from Nicaragua. The presentation is beautiful in a lovely box pressed format with 20 cigars per box. I love the belicoso size. I smoke them with my personal way of cutting the top on an angle for a great smoking experience. The cigar begins very smooth with dry cedar and roasted almond notes on the palate which then progress into a very creamy and milky-coffee notes keeping the dry cedar flavour at the same time. The flavours are consistence in the last third but leaving a hint of white pepper note on the palate. This FDLA line reminds me a very similar taste to H.Upmann cigars from Cuba. So, it is a great achievement by My Father cigars. Good value and lovely smoke experience for all occasions. A perfect present for Father’s Day. David. Montecristo Petit No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single by Samuel

Unfortunately I spoiled my first experience with the Petit No. 2 due to a slip of the hand during lighting which incinerated the wrapper and led to burn problems, but I had 3 more and so onwards and upwards. My second experience however was divine, the first third was actually the best part of the whole cigar with a lovely creamy, buttery and spicy taste. Past the 2nd third these flavours made way and I got rich flavours of wood and nuts but with a mellow smoothness about them, never overpowering. in the 3/3 the signature buttery flavour showed it's face again in combination with a balanced and no nonesense rich Cuban tobacco taste. Simply superb. I wish I could smoke these every day but my bank would strongly disagree.

Montecristo No. 5 Cigar - 1 Single by Michael

For me this was a terrible smoke, construction and draw ok, but as for the taste there was not even a hint of sweetness, it was very harsh and tasted of bad strong burnt liquorice (I normally like liquorice) Anyway a double thumbs down Monte No.5

Montecristo No. 4 Cigar - 1 Single by Samuel

After my previous bad experience with this cigar I decided to give it another go and I am so glad I did; what a cigar. Fantastic flavour with notes of wood, earth, spice, roasted notes and a distinctive tangy character with other flavours appearing throughout the smoke. A perfect burn all the way down with great smoke output. Simply superb.
