La Galera Habano Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 10 November, 2025
Good construction on the face of it with no blemishes or cracks, although the burn was uneven and the draw was a little tight at times. Got better as the burn evened out, developing into a sweet and smooth smoke with notes of cinnamon, leather, and a slight hint of pepper. Had to relight a couple of times. Not the greatest but still value for money.

La Flor de Cano Elegidos Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 18 October, 2025
I would rate this cigar as quite light in strength. The wrapper was a bit ragged around the foot and there were a couple of small tears in the body. It didn’t cut particularly cleanly either. However, it was an easy draw and quite an enjoyable smoke. As I continue along my cigar journey I’m finding I prefer something a little bit stronger than this offering. A pleasant smoke for the price. 3/5

Las Villas Seleccion Box Press 6 x 54 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 18 October, 2025
I really enjoyed this. I'm not a cigar expert so I can't get really into it, but it had a perfect draw, it looks far stronger than it actually is (Which I enjoyed). The shape is great as it doesn't roll away if you're just having a casual smoke with no ashtray and put it down!

La Invicta Nicaraguan Panetela Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 15 October, 2025
The La Invicta Nicaraguan Panatela wasn’t really for me. It’s a nice-looking, long cigar for the price but the flavour was far too bitter and strong from the start. I gave it a fair go, managed about a third, but eventually binned the rest. Even the more affordable Hamlets taste better to my palate. Maybe it would suit someone who prefers a heavier, punchier smoke, but I just found it harsh and unpleasant. A shame, really, as it looked promising, but this one’s off my list for future buys.

LCDH H. Upmann Connoisseur B Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 05 October, 2025
The H. Upmann Connoisseur B felt like a really classic Cuban experience for me. Right from the start, there was that signature smoothness—cedar, light spice, and a creamy texture that made it very approachable. The draw was just right, offering a steady flow of aromatic smoke. Flavor-wise, it had a nice balance of wood, earth, and a touch of nuttiness. About halfway through, I noticed a floral note along with some sweetness that kept things interesting. The burn line wasn’t perfect, but it corrected itself without much effort. What stood out most was how refined it felt—everything was in harmony, with no harshness or bitterness. Compared to some of the stronger Nicaraguan smokes I’ve tried, this felt more subtle and elegant, though still full of character. By the final third, the flavors deepened, with more earth and spice, but it never lost its smoothness. This cigar gave me a real sense of Cuban tradition and why brands like H. Upmann are so respected. I’d definitely keep a few of these on hand for when I want something classic and dependable. Rating: 8/10

La Invicta Nicaraguan Robusto Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 24 September, 2025
Excellent cigar. Perfectly constructed. Burnt flawlessly with a clean draw. I used to stick to mild cigars but this one was medium strength with a touch of spice which I now realise I quite like. Paired with a glass of Cognac which complimented it perfectly. Burned for 45 minutes with no bitterness. My new favourite. One to try. Well worth it and for a very reasonable price.
