La Flor Dominicana El Carajon Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 14 August, 2020
Well, Well, Well! What a beauty. As far as an affordable long filler cigar goes this one is really great. Even before I light it the draw was sweet and spring flower-like. It is by far the best constructed affordable cigar I have smoked. The draw is lovely and not too easy as it is packed with tobacco and tightly rolled. As for the first 3rd, it was very sweet with a light nutty note, the 2nd 3rd blew my senses with sweet nutty flavours. Then on the last third, it had a very nutty taste carrying the sweetness all the way from start to finish. Sadly I found it a bit sickly but that is due to personal preference as in general I do not like sweet things, however I will keep adding them to my humidor as they are well made, packs flavour, affordable and a great introduction into cigar smoking.

A good cigar. The wrapper had a patch on mine but any concerns i had were put to sleep on smoking this cigar an excellent draw with plenty of smoke that gave flavours of sweet black coffee with hints of spice and dark chocolate. One that i will be buying again. 7/10

This was the first Dominican stogie i really enjoyed... rich and full bodied unlike other cigars from the region which for me are a bit lacking and underwhelming. Like pretty much every La Flor Dominicana stogie ive tried, draw is a tad on the snug side for my taste, but overall well constructed and firmly packed with tobacco.

Sorry but I cant agree with the other reviews here. The burn was very uneven and I had to re-light twice. The flavour for me was quite harsh and one dimensional throughout. In the final third the wrapper split open and I had to abandon all hope with this one.
