fruity and sweet, my new favourite whisky. Vanilla and honey dominate the palate with an oily finish, was definitely worth a try

If you’ve never tried a Lakeland blend, beware!
Gawith Hoggarth flakes are beautifully made and Ennerdale is the gem of the Lakeland’s. Fold, roll, pack and ignite! Perfumed and sweet I love it!!!!!!! It’s unique and a must try for every pipe smoker.

Only bought these because of previously enjoying the wood tip smoke, these are described as wood tip how ever.... nasty plastic tip which tasted of factory chemicals, my particular pack is not smooth, its bitter, very peppery and spicy....

Received this today, having preordered a few weeks back. First impressions, the tin is beautiful. Unbesmirched by gruesomely illustrated health warnings, it really is a joy to behold. The tobacco itself looks lovely, with so many nuanced shades, if rainbows were brown, this would be one. The aroma coming from the tin is really quite gorgeous. There’s something sweet, ripe, and very inviting about it. In the pipe it lights easily, despite a fair level of moisture. I dried out a portion for about an hour, and it lit perfectly. It did not need a single relight all the way to the end. It burns evenly and slightly quicker than I expected, however I was outside and it was windy. The flavour and aroma carry through the tin-note nicely. A sweet and mellow smoke with no tongue bite. I can’t comment on the room note as I was outdoors, but I can’t imagine it would be anything other than great. A very enjoyable tobacco, and once again, great service from Cgars.

I've been a Cigar Smoker for Years far too many to mention, my favourite Smoke is the King Edward Imperial, & I've not had the pleasure to try the Specials but they're next on my list, if there's one piece of advice I can pass on it's this, when having a draw from your Cigar make sure you leave enough time between draws otherwise, the Cigar overheats & leaves an awful taste in the Mouth, I hope this helps

Yes as the two reviews before me state this tobacco has an extremely over bearing perfumed smell on the initial opening and being a newbie to pipes I got impatient and attempted to smoke a bowl after just 5 mins of opening, Ill be quite frank, I thought it was very unpleasant it reminded me of perfume and whiskey but not in a pleasant way. I then emptied the whole lot and put it back loose in the tine and left the lid off as it is quite compressed and moist.
The day after I found that the smell of the tobacco had changed a lot, to me smelled of a nice sweet normal tobacco. I lit up a bowl and was pleasantly surprised at how smooth it was and how it had transformed. To my pallet it does have a very nice complex flavour to it, subtle sweetness and floral/fruity nuttiness about it. As far as room note goes its a nice aroma with hints of what you taste.
I give this a personal rating of 3 beacause if you are like me and looking for something with a bit more flavour for example, I really like the principe Chico chocolate cigars and want something akin to that flavour and aroma wise
