Inka Secret Blend Blue Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 30 April, 2015
This was my first cigar ever, and having researched for well over a week, I decided on this cigar. Having researched for a nice, mild cigar, I have only just discovered that this was infact full bodied! Upon recieving the cigar, as a complete beginner I went about sniffing the cigar like a basset hound, to my pleasure, it smelled mildy pleasant and I felt it was going to be a good smoke. Upon researching how to cut, light and survive the cigar, I went about smoking. The C.Gars cutter I purchased was a messy job, but the job was done and the cap was off to an appropriate degree. The first puff of my first cigar is a moment I will seldom forget, I was instantly knocked back and whilst slightly concerned, I soldiered on through the cigar, Kinder Bueno on hand. About 1/3rd through the cigar, I developed a nasty case of cigar sickness, however this cigar was the sort to punch you in the face whilst nursing it better. Despite being full bodied, it treated me well, burning very consistently until about halfway, which I blame on my lighting technique. The smoke was not insane

Inka Secret Blend Blue Bombaso Maduro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 21 April, 2015
I purchased a few Inka cigars after a recommendation from my friend. I've been used mainly to smoking cigars from Cuba and the Dominican Republic, but I'm always looking to try something new. This one was the first of the Inkas that I tried and I must say that I was very impressed. A nice taste of coffee, liquorice and a hint of vanilla. The cigar and ash held together well whilst burning. So why only 4 stars, well the cigar was lovely for about 2 inches, after that it quickly became hot and bitter in taste, I persevered for about 15 more minutes, but it simply wasn't pleasant and put the remainder out. Half the cigar was lovely, but the second half I found to be too harsh. Please note that this was only with the Bombaso Maduro cigar, I did not have this issue with the Robusto cigar of the same type.

Inka Secret Blend Red Bombaso Cigar - Box of 10

Good value and not a bad smoke. First time I tried a non-Cuban cigar and it is quite nice. The smoke lasts about an hour, though not as good as my usual Hanbano smoke but still I find this very nice!

A great smoke indeed, excellent smoke output even when resting. The draw was loose, but not free, just the way I personally like it, What really stands out is how smooth this cigar is, slick on the tongue, in a good way. Even though this is supposed to be medium to full strength, taking your time with it (60 minutes) allows even lightweights like me to manage the strength without major issues. Only reason I'm not giving it a 5 stars is because the cigar doesn't transition and isn't overly complex, but thats the only negative to an excellent cigar had a very very good price point. I will be buying more.

Inka Secret Blend Red Half Corona Cigar - 1 Single

Great cigar – first third was cool, smooth and creamy, with a little less smoke output than I like but the second third was when it really took off for me. Very full of flavour, huge smoke output and still very cool. Towards the end of the second third, it started getting more spicy, still with great smoke and very tasty up until half way through the last third. Excellent construction, lit well and burned evenly. No maintenance required, the ash fell off at 1 1/2" and I was smoking this cigar for a solid hour. Ideal strength for me, much better than the Azul Blue range which I found quite wishy washy. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me is because I don't give 5 stars easily, and the first third was only a 4 star smoke.

Lit one of these this afternoon in the sun. Construction was good, it lit and burned well with a good volume of smoke. Draw was a tiny bit firm to begin with but soon eased up. Flavour-wise this cigar didn't do much for me. It wasn't smooth, it wasn't bitter, it wasn't hot, it wasn't cool, it just wasn't really anything. I know that at £5.49 this is a "budget" cigar, but I would much sooner smoke an Independencia 1898 for half the money. I am looking forward to trying more from the Inka range though, next up is a Rojo Cristale.
