Davidoff Winston Churchill Commander Toro Cigar - Box of 20
Date Added: Tuesday 22 December, 2020
One of my very favourite cigars. A great smoke from beginning to end. I look forward to welcoming in 2021 with one and will raise a toast to all at Cgars without whom I would be a cigarless, even worse tempered, old curmudgeon. Here’s to you and all the very best. Stewart Skirving.

Davidoff Nicaragua Box Pressed Toro Cigar - 1 Single (Discontinued)
Date Added: Tuesday 22 December, 2020
There are only 3 brands that I have never had a bad cigar from. Opus x by fuente, padron and davidoff. I have never had a bad taste, roll or burn from any of these. That is important. Consistency is very important when smoking in the uk as I cannot afford to spend £30 on a cigar that is either ridiculously tight or a wind tunnel. But flavour is the most important thing and davidoff just never let you down. They clearly have barn fulls of tobacco of every strength and flavour from every year. They clearly employ a master blender who is the best in the business. If I could afford to spend £60 a day on cigars I would smoke 2 davidoff stogies every day, but I cannot so I buy a box and tray myself one every week or so. This is a great blend and I would recommend it to anyone

Diplomaticos No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 21 December, 2020
Was given one of these recently at a bbq and absolutely loved it, usually my go to is a R&J wide but after trying this I was willing to lay some money down on a few of these for the humidor. The date was set and order received, that’s when it all went wrong. From the cut I could tell this was going to be an eventful smoke. The draw was impossible, this cigar had been rolled to tightly it was impossible to smoke. There was no saving it either. All I can say is I really hope the others aren’t as bad as I want to love this cigar. 5 out of 5 for my first experience with these. 1 out of 5 for the second.

Davidoff Royal Release Salomones Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Wednesday 16 December, 2020
I bought a fuente box which included 2 opus x angels share and 2 of the opus x perfeXcion A 9.5 inch cigars. I was in the lounge and a man came over and offered to trade for one of the perfeXcion A’s and in exchange he gave me one of these. At the time I thought maybe he had gotten the good end of the deal, but on value alone I certainly won the trade! Any opus X is a great smoke but I adore davidoff. If I had the money I would only smoke opus X, davidoff and padron. I had already lit my opus x so I took the davidoff home and had it the following day. This cigar is exceptional. It has a lovely mild retrohale but the flavours are so distinct and sharp. You can taste the quality of the tobacco with every draw. I got 3 hours out of this magnificent cigar and a hope to try another one day

Davidoff Escurio Gran Toro Cello Cigar - Box of 12
Date Added: Wednesday 16 December, 2020
The toro is a great size. But no one does toro better than davidoff. They must pay their torcedors more than other companies because the level of consistent excellence at davidoff is unparalleled. The tobaccos used are only matched by fuente opus x and padron in my opinion. Just consistently fabulous. As for this particular blend, it is always exciting when a permanent release is this amazing. Too often I fall in love with cigars where they have only made 1000 boxes and when you smoke your last one you feel as it you are grieving!! But this blend is here to stay and I am so grateful for that. I only allow myself 1 davidoff per week as I am not a wealthy man, but these are in my rotation firmly. Try one for yourself
