Davidoff Grand Cru No. 5 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 11 August, 2024
Bought as a gift, never had these before so didn't know what to expect. Beautiful cigar, a size i enjoy smoking. I usually stretch this type of cigar over half an hour. Burn was even, with a nice amount of smoke, ash held reasonably well. Smooth taste, creamy nothing harsh or spicy. A really well constructed cigar, nice to relax with a coffee and even better on a sunny day in the garden. Hopefully I get more of them as a gift, if not I'm sure i will store one or two in my humidor.

Davidoff Nicaragua Box Pressed Robusto Cigar - 1 Single (Discontinued)
Date Added: Friday 09 August, 2024
What a fantastic cigar. I actually smoked this straight after an Oliva V Melanio Maduro. I thought is would be a slight downgrade from the Oliva V in terms of flavour but I was pleasantly wrong. This cigar has plenty of rich tones of coffee and dark coco. I didn't get much spice from it but that was ok. This is now one of my top 5 cigars.

Davidoff Aniversario Entreacto Cigar - 1 Single

This is a great little cigar for a quick smoke with medium flavour. Great draw and construction. The woody coffee tones sat on my pallete for nearly an hour after finishing this cigar, which I love. It gives me lots of time to savour the flavours. Will certainly always keep a few in my humidor

Drew Estate Factory Smokes Maduro Robusto Cigar - 1 Single

Looking for a more affordable daily smoke, I really wanted to like this cigar but it started to crack half way through and the head started to unravel so it became almost unsmokable

Davidoff Primeros Dominican Cigar - Tin of 6

A lot of spice. Too much for retrohaling. I love strong cigars but this little cigar is just harsh and no flavours in particular coming through. Not for me.

Drew Estate Factory Smokes Maduro Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Friday 02 August, 2024
Mmm, what can I say? My first Drew Estate cigar, and it's classed as a bundle cigar, so it's in their cheap range. The dry draw was promising, and the construction seemed good. Upon lighting, the first third was nice, with lovely maduro flavors but not overpowering. The second third, the flavors still held up nicely, but the construction seemed to suffer. The burn was uneven and kept going out, and a big split started in the side, losing that decent draw. Still, the flavors were okay. The final third's strength built up, as in all cigars, but the construction just gave me problems. Fell apart in the end. I will try another one down the line to see if it was just a bad stick.
