Bolivar Tubos No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 17 March, 2015
This was my first Bolivar experience, and was a great introduction to the brand. Lasting around 40 minutes, this made a nice evening smoke. Peppery, especially in the last third. Not too harsh at any point. Buy one, you wont regret it.

Backwoods Authentic (Light Brown) Cigars - Pack of 5
Date Added: Friday 07 November, 2014
A very pleasant smoke indeed, the aroma reminded me of my grandfathers pipe smoke- sweet and aromatic. The smoke is light and smooth with a sweet mouth feel. The construction is rustic and can leave shreds on the lip but this is to be expected with such a traditional cigar. Looks and feels like a cigar from an old western movie! Very pleasant- cant wait for another one so a good job that they're sold in packs of 5! A good short smoke.

Brick House Corona Larga Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 03 November, 2014
Only smoked one of these so maybe I should wait until I've had a couple to judge. However, very nice looking cigar, and extremely reasonably priced for this size and quality. For that reason I was looking forward to adding it to my list of favourites. Lights well, easy draw and lots of effortless smoke. Taste wise I would have liked a bit more. seemed, not bland, but just not very distinctive. Maybe it was too subtle for me. I'll certainly try another because of the virtues set out above which make it an excellent mild smoke.

Bolivar Petit Coronas Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 24 July, 2014
Bolivars are delightful. That's a fact. I don't think I've ever had one that I didn't like however they are notorious for their strength (to the extent that on a tour of the Partagas factory in Havana we were directly warned). Whilst these aren't as good as the Belicosos, which are perhaps my favourite of the range, they are certainly a decent analog, and being smaller I don't feel dizzy and nauseated afterward. These babies are medium/full flavour - earthy, dark choc and spice - complemented perfectly by a glass of Islay whisky. I'm not completely sure why but generally I prefer to smoke these in the winter.
