Bolivar Coronas J Cigar - 1 Single

This was in my August Subscription box. IÂ’m not a big Cuban smoker, more of a New World guy & IÂ’ve always fancied trying my hand at a Bolivar.
The wrapper was very veiny, light in colour but it had an appeal.
I have mine a V cut and the lightening & toasting was smooth.
The draw at first felt rather tight, but I got a lovely thick smoke.
The draw eased into a steady medium, not too tight but not a wind tunnel.
It was a lovely earthy cigar. Plenty of white creamy smoke with an ash that held superbly.
The burn started off a little uneven, but that was easily adjusted and it stayed mellow and even for the 40 mins I got from this.
Am I going to be a Cuban man in the future? No, but IÂ’m more curious about more Cubans in the future.
So, all in all it was a fantastic pleasure and a brand I will undoubtedly revisit in the future.
As always, Cgars packaged well and delivered a superb stick.

Smoked a few of these and all have had great construction with good burn, draw and a strong long ash with and creamy prodigious smoke output, flavours are mild until the final third when they give out a fair kick and get more peppery.

Amazing for the price. First time buying and using a pipe and this kit was great. The pipe I received is a nice quality and not overly large but not the easiest to clean, the leather pouch is really high quality and had that lovely new leather smell, the tool is a little stiff but works fine. Only tried one tobacco sample so far and it was absaloutley wonderful. Would absolutely recommend this for anyone starting pipe smoking.

Bought this cigar in amongst some Bolivars, I’ve been looking for a decent robusto maduro that didn’t break the bank all I can say is YES!
Mission accomplished, fantastic cigar that lasted an hour and had a great evolution of taste, fantastic construction with a even burn will be buying a box of five in my next order!

Now, here we have something ! Took the foot band off, wet, toast and light and pure heaven. Im a slow smoker so expected to have to re-light, no not at all. Very pleased with this medium to full cigar, my last Robusto was a bit too strong for me, unusual ! The wrapper gave a light taste to it but a go to again cigar for me.
I never give 5 stars, this is a 4.8 :)

WoW :) Havent even finished the last 1/3 or finished my diary entry, I dont have to, this is a beauty ! I tend to go towards the longer , say, Churchill cigars, so glad I tried this and the Ghurkha Ghost, ( I dont understand the negative reviews about the Gurkha, I adored it ) which is also an excellent smoke, or my lack of taste?
But this is in almost a class of its own. I know I whinge about the tax we pay but stuff that in this case, its worth every penny. A couple of touch ups but thats probably down to my slow smoking style, a wet finger solves all. Im writing this review slowly so I can finish this beast of a flavour bomb! Simply, Im ordering more when I finish this review
No theyre no cheap by any means, and Im on my pension ! But for a nice day and walking DogFace this is in my top go to list for short sticks, really, its made such an impression on me and my palate. 2nd third was much the same as the 1st but the final 1/3d had a bit more punch, but at well into the final third on a short cigar its no real not a surprise. Heady on the final, again my smoking style, but love
