Description

The French knife maker Claude Dozorme was established in 1902 and is still owned by the founding family. All knifes are made by hand at the original location in Thiers, the French stronghold for steel works. Knife enthusiasts appreciate the high quality craftsmanship.

All Claude Dozorme knifes have one thing in common - only the best Scandinavian and German steels are used in the production of the blades. These blades are embedded in handles made of natural materials with beautiful decorations.

This world renowned knife model is not comparable to any other knife. First forged 1829 in the village with the same name, it is still one of the most beautiful items a man could own.

5 star quality knife. Looks good and feels good but the design is such that it does not make a good pipe knife. They have taken one of their standard designs of knife and rounded off the blade point. A tamper has been added to the end but it is too close to the knife body. This means that the tamper cannot reach far enough into the pipe bowl on most pipes without jamming against the pipe bowl rim. I would recommend it only for larger pipe bowls. Disappointing for the price.

