Description

This special Tawny port is made from old vines from the various Quintas (estates) of Ramos Pinto which are situated in the best areas of the Douro region.

The '30 Year Old' is a special blend of different Port wines which spend decades in the Ramos Pinto cellars, in Vila Nova de Gaia.

Grape Variety: A mixture of grape varieties from old Vines

Serving: Serve at the end of a good meal, with coffee or a good cigar. It can accompany a Bavarian cream dessert with nuts and mango.

Serve between 18º and 22º C.

 

 

Tasting Notes

 
Nose: This complex, perfectly balanced port shows rich aromas of dried fruit and vanilla. Agitate the glass and spice aromas of cinnamon and cocoa are liberated.
 
Palate: In the mouth, the attack is fresh, fine and delicate. Ripe, dried fruit softly merges with almond and hazelnut, culminating in vanilla flavors which linger gracefully on the palate.
 
Finish: With spice, dried raisins and intense acidity.
