I appreciate that this is a budget cigar, so wasn't expecting the world. However the draw was far too loose for my liking and it just felt a bit odd smoking it. The dry draw was lovely and sweet but it didn't really come alive until the final third. At that point it became nice and smoky and full of flavour. Just a shame I had to smoke 2/3s of it to get there.

Im very new to cigar smoking, and cannot yet determine all these flavours that are mentioned, I still just get cigary and smoky, but much like anything in time Im sure Ill start to be able to distinguish the different flavours... Was a nice smoke, I found the last 3rd to be the most enjoyable - the warmth of the smoke seemed to improve the flavour. My longest ash to date (just a couple of months smoking experience) and burned evenly. One to revisit at some point Id say.

First time trying this Cigar. I really enjoyed it, great flavours, well constructed with an even burn throughout. Will definitely re-order.

1. Appearance & Construction Cigar had a nice dark brown wrapper, smooth to touch even though the wrapper was veiny.  Was a tad dry near the foot at there was a slight crack. Tobacco was filled nicely and the cigar had decent weight to it. Didnt look amazing. I mean there are cigars you see and your reaction is wow. From the look of this cigar and the label you could tell this wasnt a high end cigar. 10/15. 2. Flavor & Aroma. Before even lighting the cigar there was a strong earthy smell. During the course of the smoke the flavor was earthy, leathery with hints of coffee, but there was an over empowering hint of fiery peppery spice that was there in the background. If the spicy-ness was a tad less the flavor wouldve been outstanding. 17/25. 3. Smoking Characteristics. Everything came easy with this cigar. Cutting to lighting was effortless. Burn was uneven to begin with but with a couple of touch ups and by the time it got to the 2nd 3rd it was burning beautifully. Ash was white like snow and stayed on the cigar all the way to the nib. Draw was heavy and a little tight but didnt require much effort. 22/25 4. Overall experience. This wasnt a great smoke but it was a decent smoke. Got about 50mins of smoking out of this cigar and it was pretty enjoyable even though the spicy-ness was over powering. Do think that keeping this in a humidor for a couple of months would mellow out the spice and make it an amazing smoke. For just under £9 you cant go wrong, I will definitely buy this again and give it a good few months in the humidor before smoking again just to see if there is a difference. Its a good cigar but flavor slightly let it down. 29/35. Total points 78/100.

Currently on a train ride testing as many different good value cigars as i can. Tonight (15/11/17) i enjoyed said Quorum. The cigar appeared well made. Lovely earthy smells. Dry draw hinted at some lovely sweetness that reminded me of Romeo Y Julieta. All most like a honey taste. However soon turned bitter? The cutting was easy and the burn was even and the ash held well. The taste overall for me was dominated by a peppery spice. My tongue is particularly sensitive (due to outside factors) to anything hot and spicey pepper included so the taste was dominated as such. However not unpleasant and the bitter taste on the draw dry was never to be seen. Smoke lasted around 50 minutes. Overall very nice, it has set a benchmark for the next cigars to come. Well worth a try especially at this price point. Onto a Juliany robusto next to compare. Though i will revisit these as with all i taste test as one go really isnt enough to form a decisive opinion. 3 out of 5 for me, nicely made easy to smoke but for me personally taste was dominated by hot spices and pepper. That may change in time as may the score. But definitely give it a go!!

Another great cigar from Quorum! Construction and burn were flawless. Great aromas. The wrapper was a wee bit flaky in one area, as though it has dried at some point...I've had this before with Quorum cigars, luckily it didn't diminish the smoking experience. The wrapper was thin and gave a feeling of quality and an even burn. Ash held very well. Tastes were toasted bread, toasted nuts. Plumes of smoke. I'm very impressed with this manufacturer though...indeed there are some very good cigars coming out of Nicaragua. Can't fault it at this price.
