Prestige Augustus Leather Black Travel Humidor - 20 Cigar Capacity

I'm at that stage in my cigar journey where I don't want to just buy one and smoke it, buy one and smoke it etc so the time was right to invest in a small humidor. I looked online at various budget humidors and even ways of making my own to save on spending what I saw as pretty big money on a "posh" humidor. It was then that I stumbled across this £39.99 gem and it was the perfect fit to my needs and a great introduction to humidor ownership. The kit comes complete with everything you need as a cigar smoker (novice or not!) this includes humidor box, humidifier, hygrometer, balanced humidification solution, single-blade cigar cutter, cigar ring gauge measure and full, comprehensive and easy to follow instructions to get your hygrometer configured and your humidor established. The fit and finish on the humidor box itself is fine, as the description says its matte black and from the picture you can tell it's essentially a black, top opening box. However it doesn't feel flimsy or shoddily made, it's quite solid and the felted base means it's unlikely to scratch any surfaces you choose to put it on. The plain finish of this humidor appealed to me as it was discreet and the suze meant I could store it pretty much anywhere. The hygrometer is brass, affixes to the inside of the lid via a sticky-backed magnet and looks quite good when you open the lid of your box, similarly the humidifier affixes using sticky backed Velcro and is finished in black plastic. All in all I think this is an excellent introductory humidor at a fantastic price for something which can be set up And used straight out of the box pretty much. My only problem now is buying enough cigars to fill it!
