When I took this cigar out of the cello I immediately realised the strong barn yard smell. It smells strong and sweet. It smokes strong and sweet too. Some strong red pepper on the front of the palette with the 1st few puffs but this dies down. It is quite a complex cigar with favour notes changing as I smoked through this cigar. It is a very tasty cigar and lasts a long time, infact it lasted longer than any robusto vitola cigar that I've ever smoked before. I will definitely buy more of these.

Plasencia, fast becoming one of my favourite brands. This cigar is very smooth, with a nice even burn and a nice draw. Amazing value for money as well, other brands, you could easily be paying double. Took me personally about an hour to get through. I found the flavours didn't change too much, but still very enjoyable smoke and certainly will be getting more to keep in my humidor

What a lovely smooth smoke which remained consistent all the way to the nub, which for me as a slow smoker took 80 pleasurable minutes. Plenty of smoke, good ash retention, burnt evenly all the way to the end. Removing all the bands when I got close to them with no issues. That's how to build a great cigar. Will definitely get some more to add to my humidors.

Flavour for days! This was the third cigar I had tried from my first CGars New World subsription. I have to say it's easily the best cigar I have ever had in the short time I have been smoking, which went to prove to me that the subscriptions are a much better way to get to know cigars you like - especially when compared to what I'd been doing previously and randomly buying packs of cigars. The 149 has a deep dark taste with a lovely earthy smell that I could still smell two days later. Nicotine levels appear low, which is how I like my cigars. I used a V-cut. Stored it at 70. I smoked it over three separate sessions! I am quite a light smoker, but when I do smoke I like it dark and flavoursome. Can't wait to try more of the Plasencias. Bravo CGars.

I’ve had a few boxes of these in the past, and I’ve never had a disappointing cigar ever. Plasencia means quality, and this is one of the highlights of the brand. The history is in the description, a beautiful history which shows in smell and flavour and construction and consistency. Not too big and not too small. A burn that makes you smile. A flavour of pure cedar, dark chocolate, nuts and a creamy smoke with a hard ash which is crisp and white. This came in a Classic Cuban/New World sub box and even though I’ve had many, it was a joy to see because I haven’t had one in a few months. The Subscription box was full of heavy hitters, and this holds its weight. I’d take this over the pricey Plasencia cigars any day of the week. It could be a weekend treat or the daily, and you will still enjoy it because it screams class and perfection. As always, Cgars have fantastic choices and selections and this one shows. Take a chance if you haven’t had one.
