Cigar itself is absolutely beautiful and very tasty there's so much going on in the first half it reminded me of another cigar Drew Estate Liga Privada T52 it has very similar flavour to it that I can't put my finger around it (herbal and fruity?) it had a perfect draw only downside I experience was it didn't burn evenly it needed few touchups with a lighter. But to be honest I just found my next best cigar 9.5/10

Sampled this cigar on 02.10.25 at the Cgars Event in Norfolk. This was a wonderful cigar with lots of flavours, good construction and easy draw.. Lots of tasting notes especially when paired with a Balenie Carribean cask whisky. A nice light smooth whisky brings out the rich sweet toffee and caramel flavours and notes. Towards the end, one is met with a richer full bodied taste. Certainly one of the best I have tried from the Plasencia range. My only criticism was it didnt last long enough! (Ha Ha) A wonderful cigar experience at a good price. Definitely one to have in the humidor as a regular go to. 10/10. Thanks Billy and Josh for another great night. ;) Mike F - Norwich

At last, a new world cigar I really enjoyed. Shame about the price being the same as a Cuban, however… Perfect draw and burn, sweet and earthy, delicious throughout. It describes it as full but I would say medium and below which is fine by me Highly recommend

I bought this in a Christmas tri bundle Plasencia and this one for me was far the best of the bunch. The rest of them were good but this box pressed Alma Fuerte was just grrrrreat. Immaculately built with a perfect burn line and oodles of smoke even with the lightest puff. On the dry draw I got coffee and chocolate (not the bitter kind). It took me a leisurely 80 minutes to smoke to the nub nearly burning my fingers. Maybe a bit to much for a beginner, but I really enjoyed this smoke especially no issues made it just that bit more enjoyable. More needed for my humidor for sure.

Cigar Journals cigar of the year 2020 & I was expecting to be amazed. Paired with Balvenie 14 year Caribbean Cask whisky on a beautiful sunny day. I was not wowed & do not think it’s worth it’s price tag personally, I’ve had much more complex cigars that have wowed at half the price. Love the Plasencia Alma Del Fuego, that’s far more complex & enjoyable. Brings into question for me the whole cigar of the year hype across all publications. On a plus though the construction can not be faulted brilliant ash build up & burn was even.
