The Plasencia Alma Del Campo Tribu Cigar is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon, and it left a lasting impression on me. The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper caught my attention, and the flavor journey that followed was a delightful surprise. With notes of cedar and leather complemented by a subtle spice, this well-constructed cigar provided a smooth and enjoyable experience that I highly recommend exploring.

Cold draw had a slight hint of aniseed and hay. Very slight toothiness to the wrapper and a very slight hint of crystallisation after 6 months in the humidor. First half dominated by a strong but pleasant dry earthiness and a woody overtone, very little if no spiciness - perhaps a slight hint of cumin but nothing obvious. Second half the earthiness developed into a creamy coffee and a very faint herbal note. A luxurious feel to the smoke and with a very pleasant combination of flavours. The draw was impeccable throughout, although the burn was at times uneven it certainly wasnt the worst Ive seen and was quite manageable. Would highly recommend.

Purchased this with a voucher I received for my recent birthday as it just looked so tempting - it didnt disappoint! I had sampled the cheaper (but still excellent!) Plasencia cigars previously and this was even better. Im not one to rave on about different flavours I taste, I go more by the sheer enjoyment factor of a smooth, creamy smoke with plenty of smoke and not wanting it to end - and this delivers on all of those levels and more. It burned perfectly evenly, no touch ups required and great ash. You know you have a great cigar when youre not focusing on how much is left and this one went right down to the nub - will definitely be buying more of these in the future.

Spent the last couple of weeks experimenting with Plasencia cigars, and this is second only to the Alma Fuerte line, which are my favourite cigar (smoking 2 years).
