Description

Pirate’s Grog is an exceptional rum that will blow wind into your sails!

The rum is aged in white American oak, bourbon barrels for five years before being blended in small batches.

This makes the rum perfectly smooth with rich flavours of vanilla, butterscotch and raisin.

It was originally created on the Caribbean island of Roatán (which is famed for its pirate history) by the master blender and chief pirate Robert J. van der Weg.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Classic estery rum notes of burnt sugar with bananas, clear honey and vanilla oak.

Palate: A Rich creamy mouthfeel concluding with beautiful sweet sugar notes

Finish: Short and sweet drawing on caramel, cinnamon and orange oil to finish.
