Thoroughly enjoyable smoke with typical Partagas flavours. Albeit this is a Taco Ive learnt my lesson from these Belicosos shaped cigars and ended up making a first cut which was more of a snip and just removed the tip at the smoking end, then a second cut further up the smoking end of the cigar to get the right amount of smoke. What I would call typically Cuban flavours all the way down, as you get similar flavours apparent in an H.Upmann, HdM and RyJ, according to my taste buds anyway, not necessarily the predominant flavours but there all the same. It lasted me about an hour, just the job.

The construction of this cigar is dismal, to say the least. Partagas flavour is there, but it’s a real struggle to find it. Avoid this at all costs. What a waste of time and money.

I have been lucky enough to try some of the best cigars in the world and this is a fabulous cigar. Lots of flavour lots of smoke. Amazing shape wrapped by the best. Stunning cigar. Not full marks because I have had a couple of better cigars but this is top 5

Seems that I am the only one to have something nice to say about this Cigar. Let us talk about the Shape it's a blast from the past a shape that was very common during the 19th century and probably the only sort of shape you could get until around the 1930s. Construction was Fine from what I expected from a Double Figurado. Having cut the end I began to light with a Match as it seemed the right thing to do for such a Classic Shape from a Bygone Age. Accompanying the Cigar I had a Glass of Bulleit Bourbon (I know Bourbon is shunned by a lot of Whisky aficionados but I find it wonderful for sipping with Cigars) The two Flavours of the Cigar and the Bourbon were a match made in heaven! The Strong Partagas Flavours that we've all grown to love married with the smokey Mellow Taste of the Bourbon. The Ash held Surprisingly well for a Double Figurado and the burn itself was more or less even! Overall If you would like a nice trip back in time by all means give this Cigar a try it is wonderful and the aroma from what my peers around me said it was utterly delightful!
