1st time I tied this entry level cigar from Padron. Im used to smoking 1964 Maduro and 1926. This 2000 series cigar was no where near as complex and smooth as the 1964 etc. I enjoyed the 2000 but I wouldn't buy another one.

This is a gorgeous cigar. Construction is superb. The smoothest cigar ive ever smoked. The draw is perfect, the burn is perfect and leaves a great ash. Dark, woody to start with a hint of pepper on the retro hale. Becomes sweeter into the 2nd third. Loads of creamy smoke. Full bodied. Paired with JD fire which complimented the cigar perfectly. Lasted 80 mins. Highly recommend.

Great quality and value cigar for the price point. Im just smoking it in the afternoon with a glass of Argentinean red wine. The cigar compliments the dry oakiness and rich frutiness of the wine. The cigar is dark coca, smooth, rich and dry earth aromatic and a good burn and construction. Brilliant white Ash. Circa 1 hour and a half burn time.

Incredible cigar. Extremely aromatic - perfume, spices, wood. Lots of chocolate, cashews, almonds, cream. Best non-cuban Ive tried (Ive tried loads). Smoked straight out of box.

Dark, powerful cigar. Very nice coffee flavours. Quite a strong smoke, left me fairly lightheaded.

So, as a fairly new member of the forums, I found this cigar to be medium strength, with a little pepper and spice in the 1st 3rd, with great draw and the burn very even and straight. The 2nd third continued in the same way, with a little more pepper, but not overly so. Now getting an aged leather and sweet wood note, a little like sweet chestnut on an open fire....with liquorice and earthy notes. I like this one! A little further on, I get a fruit brandy (German Williams schnapps), flavour, which is quite sweet. Final 3rd, still getting pepper, but now hotter on the tongue.... still very enjoyable, but losing the sweeter notes- becoming earthy, with looong finish and..... Ooh... it’s gone out!! Relight, and all is good... I just took too long between draws🙄. I’m pairing this one with a bourbon 🥃... Woodford Reserve, which goes really well with its sweet Finish. All in all, a good cigar for the price, and well worth trying. Rate on its own merit as 89-91 Aj.
