Had 1 of these bad boys in a recent purchased chubby selection . This was definitely my personal favourite . Excellent hour or so relaxing smoke . Light tangy peppery taste , easy draw with ample plumes of think creamy smoke . Cheaper than my usual cubans of choice well worth a try . Love this gauge size big fat bad boy smoke . Shorty also great with smaller gauge . Well worth a punt .

Great cigar about an hour smoke. Peppery taste on light. Smooth draw even burn. Plenty of smoke light ash but firm. Great smoke, really good value for money.

I normally only smoke Cuban Cigars but am always willing to try something new. I have tried all three sizes of the new Oliva and I am really taken by the Chubby size. If you want an everyday smoke or a quality Cigar on a budget then this is the range to go for.

I bought a sampler of these and tried the chubby first. This was partly due to my preference for shorter cigars in this weather but also because the outer wrapper was cracked. It may be the postmans eager method of delivery but it did get me thinking just how premium this would be given it came in cellophane. This was quickly dispelled however as the quality came through after the first puff. The fillers lost no shape without the wrapper. It lit very easily which is contrary to my experience with other similar size cigars. That burn was even throughout though which was another indication of the quality. In terms of flavour, first came a huge kick of spicy and earthy notes. It did mellow out after about 15 min though and ended with some good hints of cocoa. Each puff produced a huge amout of smoke. About the same as three or four on the average corona as a result of the of the ring guage. All in all a decent cigar. As a lover of sweeter blends like r and j or hoyo, I'm not sure I would invest in a box but I'll reserve full jugement until I try the others in the range.
