Taketsuru is a blended whisky from Nikka, named in honour of their founder Masataka Taketsuru.
The component whiskies for the Taketsuru 21 Year Old come from Yoichi and Miyagikyo, Nikka’s two malt distilleries.

Nose: Classy aromas of crème brûlée, a hint of sweet spice and delicious rich chocolate followed by some top-class oak on show.
Palate: Rich and big, with a lovely combination of caramelised sugar, milk chocolate and toasty spice, along with candied orange peel.
Finish: Long, the candied fruit blends well with the spice.
