The 1st box of 10 were very light brown in colour and the remaining 7 were kindly replaced without fuss. The replacement box of 7 were much better although still not the rich dark brown I have expected and whilst kept in my humidor still were dry and peeling when smoked. This has put me off them. I did buy them on a price match and they were replaced without fuss so I kept the replacements but now wish I had not

These were my first long-filler Cubans and proved to be a very smooth, approachable smoke. Flavour-wise they delivered light cocoa and coffee notes without ever becoming overpowering. Construction was generally very good. One cigar did show a small wrapper defect, though it didn’t affect performance, and the remaining four were free from any issues. Internally the construction was solid across the board, with no burn problems throughout the smoke. The draw was perhaps very slightly on the tight side, but still comfortable and consistent. Depending on smoking pace, each cigar lasted around 40–60 minutes, making them an easy, enjoyable smoke rather than a time commitment.

I must say I'm very unlucky with Cuban cigars this one arrived with a little damage on a foot which wasn't too bad of a problem. As soon I've cut it I knew this is bad. The draw was so tight. I got through first third then I had to give up Aroma was very nice and the taste was nice but it became so clogged I was in unable to smoke it It's a pity because I was looking forward to this one and it end up being wast of money and my time.

The Montecristo No.4 is a classic petit corona that really lives up to its reputation. I love the compact size, it’s perfect when you want a shorter smoke without sacrificing any depth of flavour. From the first draw, it gives off that signature Montecristo richness earthy, slightly woody, with a hint of cocoa and spice that builds as it goes. It’s definitely on the stronger side compared to some of my usual picks, but it never feels overwhelming. The balance between power and smoothness makes it a really satisfying, relaxing smoke. The construction was excellent! With a steady burn, good draw, and plenty of thick, creamy smoke. Overall, the Montecristo No.4 is one of those cigars that feels timeless. Quick, flavourful, and beautifully made, it’s the kind of smoke that makes even a short break feel like a proper occasion.

These have long been one of my favourite cigars to enjoy with an afternoon coffee. The classic Cuban flavour is smooth, rich, and never disappoints in taste. Unfortunately, my most recent 5-pack was a letdown. Every stick had a tight draw and required frequent relighting, which took away from the overall experience. It’s a shame, because when they’re good, they’re truly excellent — but the inconsistent quality control makes it a gamble.

Still early in my cigar journey, but quickly become one of my favourites. A slightly stronger cigar than I usually prefer, but it’s not overpowering.. so many rich flavours, and the pepper notes are subtle. On my list of regular purchases now.
