Hmmmmm - update to the post below. Had another Monte 2 a couple of weeks later and - surprisingly - nowhere near as enjoyable. Think I understand the "smile on the dog" post below, now. Don`t get me wrong, still an excellent smoke, when they`re right, they`re very right. When they`re not quite right, they`re still a fine smoke, though. written by Dave Francis

The pyramid sized monte #2 was a great cigar and had a mass smoke .the cigar I smoked was a bit loose so had a bit of hot smoke a the last two inches.The cigar had a complex smoke,I recomend these cigars after a meal with cognac or after a late lunch when readin the newspappers. written by Tarkan Nevzat GBR

A ton of hype goes along with this cigar. Some of it is to be understood, some of it is a little much. No matter what, it is one of the more famous cigars out there, and a good smoke at that. One can see why many enjoy this stick. written by mmeadows
