I had high hopes for the Mitchellero Torcedor, thinking it might become my new everyday smoke. I took it out of my cedar humidor about six hours before lighting up and it burned beautifully, lasted the perfect amount of time as advertised and started off really nicely. The first half was smooth, rich, and full of flavour, but by the second half it turned a bit too spicy and peppery for my personal taste. It’s still a very good cigar for the price, and I can see why people enjoy it. I’ve got another one resting in the humidor and plan to try it again soon to see if it was just this particular stick. For now, I’d call it a solid effort, but my favourite from the Mitchellero range is still the Robusto, that one’s tough to beat.

I've written about these before, expressing satisfaction with the blend and price paid .I like both the construction and blend when I can get them at a bundle offer for £ 5.66 per stick, then it is daft not to buy if indeed you like this blend and size. Would I prefer a Partagas Short? Probably, but not nearly 4 times the price.I look forward to the next offers on this blend, whatever the size!

Brought a pack of 12 of these in a deal a few weeks ago, the cigar itself is not too bad, for my palate it started off very earthy whcih i am not a big fan of however as the cigar progressed i got notes of sweetness, nuts and slight cream, in the final third i got some cedar and spicy notes, over all its not a bad cigar for a quick smoke with a nice black cup of coffee or with a sweet/spicy rum or whiskey.

I enjoyed this more than I expected to :) I've been trying all the different violas of this blend and I found that I really enjoyed this one more than I expected for such a lil cigar Perhaps the smaller ring gauge compared to the robusto changed the ratio of wrapper to filler. Either way, I found this to be a really pleasant flavourful smoke :)

Reasonable smoke, started well with an even burn and some nice flavour, became rather dull half way and flavour subsided towards the end. An ok cigar for the price but wouldn’t rush to buy another

Thoroughly enjoyable 35 to 40 minutes smoke with a morning coffee in the garden. Even burn and consistent flavour profile throughout. Since the completely insane price rise of Cubans, Mitchelleros in a variety of vitolas have been my go to. I haven’t had a bad one yet.
