I’m delighted to introduce my new Mitchellero Peru range - Available in all of the most popular sizes!

A blend of Nicaraguan and Peruvian leaf long filler, handmade in Nicaragua, Mitchellero Peru is a slightly bolder, more complex blend, that retains a similar structure to our original Mitchellero Nicaragua range.

Tasting Notes

Woody undertone, nutty with espresso notes, becoming more pronounced as the cigar progresses. The Peruvian leaf contributes a dark chocolate note on the palate.

Good construction - some uneven burn which I think might have been my own wrongdoing. Easy to touch up. Ash held on for ages! Flavour opens with a touch of spice but quickly mellows over a consistent coffee note. The second half really opens up to stronger coffee, not quite an espresso. In the final third a creamy sweet cocoa develops for a while, before retreating back again to mainly coffee. Pleasant in all honesty. Smaller puffs resulting in a lower temperature will help the flavours surface. Might buy again once my palate has developed more, because despite loving good coffee, I would like some more complex flavours.

As I still class myself as a newbie to the cigar world I thought this may have been a bit much for me, but I needn't have worried. It was a pleasant 45ish mins smoke with a good draw (punch cutter) and smoke with a good aroma, taste wasn't a nicotine hit was as hard as I'd feared so it turned out to be an enjoyable smoke especially for the price. Will I buy more??? Most Definitely!!!

Just finished smoking my first one of these. Really enjoyable and solid smoke, especially at the price point this is offered at. Mostly smooth and creamy throughout with a couple of hits of pepper. It didn't blow my socks off but definitely nice enough to buy a few more to bulk out my supply. Easily lasted me an hour as well.

As someone still new to cigars, the Mitchellero Peru Robusto has been a real eye-opener for me. It’s described as an approachable, well-priced smoke, and I can see why it’s a favorite among beginners and more seasoned smokers alike. On the cold draw, I got hints of earth and a touch of cedar, nothing too heavy or intimidating. Once lit, it opened up with a very smooth profile—creamy at times, with light coffee and nutty notes. There’s a bit of pepper, but it doesn’t dominate; it just adds a little tingle that keeps things interesting. The construction was surprisingly solid for the price point—the draw was consistent, and the ash held on longer than I expected. By the halfway point, I noticed some leathery notes and a mild sweetness that reminded me of dried fruit, though very subtle. It’s not overly complex, but it doesn’t need to be; it’s just a straightforward, reliable cigar that delivers plenty of flavor without overwhelming a newcomer. I’d happily recommend this to anyone starting out or looking for an easy daily smoke. For me, this one feels like great value and enjoyable balance. Rating: 8/10

First time I had one of these was very early into my cigar days and it wasn't for me. I wasn't used to the peppery notes. Just came back to this one. Whole other story. I really enjoyed this one. The peppery notes I really enjoyed this time. Unlike some mild cigars I struggle to taste anything. The construction was impeccable. Burned really nice, didn't need any touch ups and generated the longest ash I've ever had. If I remember right, I think Mitchell said that the Mitchellero range is rolled by Plasencia... and you can tell :)
