The second batch of Macduff single malt Scotch whisky independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company yet again sees a scene not seen in one of Shakespeare's most famous plays on its label. Batch 2 is a release of 101 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, blended malts, blends and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.
Nose: Blackcurrant, raisin and winter spice. Resinous oak then turns into barley sugar and other boiled sweets with candied orange.
Palate: Honey and lemon, blueberries and cocoa with hints of nuts, camphor and clove.
Finish: Juicy oak, rich tea biscuit and a fresh orange slice.
