Description

The Longrow 21 Year Old 2022 Release is a highly limited, heavily peated Campbeltown single malt from the Springbank distillery.

This 21-year-old expression is a very limited release as only 252 bottles were produced from a single cask.

The whisky was matured in a fresh sherry hogshead before being bottled in 2022 at 46% ABV.

First distilled in 1973, Longrow is the peated single malt from Springbank distillery, one of three produced there. Less than 150 barrels of Longrow are filled each year.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Soft peat influence, smoked mussels, cured meats, apricots, and peaches.

Palate: Coastal, seaweed, samphire, lingering smoke, and ripe red berries.

Finish: Caramelised butter, raspberries, cranachan, and prolonged peat smoke
