Longmorn 2008 Bottled 2023 Gordon & Macphail Distillery Labels - 46% 70cl

This decadent Speysider was distilled at Longmorn in 2008, before bottling by Gordon & MacPhail in 2023.

A single malt whose official bottlings are difficult to find, Longmorn has lots of devotees, with many of our staff considered among them.

At a time when most whiskies were produced for blends, Gordon & MacPhail had such a strong relationship with many distilleries that they bottled and sold them as single malts, under the agreement that they used the distilleries' standard labels, with the added notation, "bottled by Gordon & MacPhail."

Today's Distillery Labels collection honors those relationships by recreating the historical label designs.

Nose: Stewed raisins and pressed apple aromas compliment autumnal spices. Toasted hazelnuts develop alongside candied peel.

Palate: Strawberry flavours combine with smooth citrus and aniseed. Raspberry gives way to walnut and charred oak.

Finish: Full with ripe plum and chocolate.
