Description

Loch Lomond Steam and Fire Single Malt Whisky is crafted with passion and innovation.

Finished in heavily charred American oak casks that impart rich melted brown sugar, a buttery mouthfeel, and notes of orange and dark chocolate.

Matured initially in three types of American oak casks, it then undergoes a 10-month finish in charred casks fired in Loch Lomond’s award-winning on-site cooperage, creating a distinctive and indulgent character.

 

Tasting Notes

 

Nose: Opens with a bright burst of vanilla, fudge, and toffee, balanced out with orchard fruits - think green apples, pear, and citrus zest, with subtle warming cinnamon. 

Palate: Creamy, loaded with caramelized sugar, orange marmalade, and peach, balanced by roasted notes of coffee beans, roasted marshmallow, and dark chocolate.

Finish: A medium-to-long, dry finish which leaves a lingering impression of dark chocolate, soft woody smoke, and warming spice.
