Description

Introducing the the second batch of Lindores STR cask bottling (shaved, toasted & re-charred) which has been bottled at the same higher abv as its predecessor, of 49.4%.
 
Lindores distillery is located in the Lowlands region (Scotland) and the whiskies they produce are all bottled at natural colour (No added caramel) and without chill-filtration (which some people prefer, as there's nothing removed from the product before bottling, allowing customers to try a more honest version of the spirit.)
 
Milled, Mashed, Fermented and Distilled on site at Lindores Abbey Distillery from 100% Fife barley and local water source.
 
Series 2 also allows consumers to explore a longer maturation time than series 1, a fantastic way to follow the evolution of Lindores Whisky as it matures year by year.
 
A perfect Whisky for the Autumn and Winter months ahead!  

Tasting Notes

Nose: Very mellow fruity plum jam, caramelized muscovado sugar, Scottish butter tablet notes and cinnamon touches.

Palate: Sweet plums and dates, ripe apricots with baking spices and roasted chestnuts. Notes of apple and cinnamon pie at the back with a very soft, smooth texture and a pleasant finish.

Finish: Medium to long with spices, honey and caramel notes.
