Leconfield Syn Sparkling Shiraz Wine - 75cl 13.5%

The Leconfield estate was established in 1974 by one of Australia’s most talented winemakers, Sydney Hamilton.

Over the years the Leconfield Riesling has taken its place amongst the best examples in Australia with the 32-year-old Riesling vines comprising some of the original planting’s on the estate, mature vines which produce a crop of intensely flavoured fruit with wonderful varietal character every year.

Leconfield Syn Shiraz was made in a fine, elegant style and matured in oak. Secondary fermentation provided natural effervescence and the wine has been liqueured to give a creamy palate.

2% vintage port was blended in the liqueur to the wine to provide complexity.

Bright and fresh full of raspberry fruit aromas, this is a beautifully balanced and creamy sparkling red wine showing lively raspberry and cherry flavours, finishing with a soft and cleansing acidity.

A fine accompaniment to earthy flavours, such as beetroot, best served with canapés or poultry
