I found this cigar difficult to start burning, needed slightly more draw than I'm used to, to keep it alight. Lots of smoke and a strong taste. I enjoyed this cigar with a coffee but the cigar did become too strong personally for me after around halfway through. Perfect though if you do enjoy a strong tasting cigar.

The first thing that strikes you about this cigar is its appearance. The wrapper is extremely dark and slightly forbidding, giving the impression that you're in for a serious smoke. Construction was generally good, although I found it difficult to light with wooden cigar matches and eventually had to reach for the blue-flame lighter to get it going. The draw produced nice dense smoke. If you enjoy that classic smoky poker-room atmosphere, this cigar certainly delivers and makes for an entertaining experience. The burn wasn't perfect, and I had to touch it up several times. It also needed a few relights whenever I left it for more than a minute between draws. Flavour-wise, this is a robust cigar with plenty of character. Coffee bean notes present throughout, ideal paired to a strong black coffee or a coffee liqueur. There is also a dark chocolate quality from the wrapper that gives the cigar an interesting mouthfeel. Strength is definitely on the higher side, so I wouldn't recommend this as a beginner's cigar or as an easy-going mid-morning smoke. Smokers who normally enjoy something milder, such as a Montecristo 3 or 4, may appreciate the extra punch if they're looking to branch out, although you may find it a little overwhelming. Overall, I'm glad I tried it. While it's not a cigar I'll be rushing buy again, it's certainly worth experiencing if you're curious about fuller-bodied maduros and want something a bit different from your usual, without breaking the bank.

One of the strongest cigars I ever had. Like many other Kristoff cigars this one looks like a piece of art, rustic old school look is very cool. I definitely enjoyed it especially second third very nice! But it was too strong for me and first and third pert was quite bitter, it did pair nice with strong sweet black coffee. That said it was too strong for me. Construction was not perfect draw was very good but it didn't burned even maybe because being so strong I did smoked it very slowly. It is not a cigar for me too strong and not sweet enough, definitely not for beginners.
