Released in 2022, comes this 8-year-old single malt from Glengyle distillery.

This exceptional release embodies the rich flavors that tailored cask strength whiskies are renowned for, matured exclusively in port casks for at least eight years.

Enjoy a whisky free from any chill filtration or artificial coloring, bottled at a natural cask strength of 57.9% ABV.

Tasting Notes

Nose: The port influence is quite intense, masking some of the Kilkerran character. Big influences of cherry marmalade, cassis and even some aceto di balsamico. Ending on nougat, mocha and a hint of leather. 

Palate: More smoky now. Earthy whiffs, jammy fruits, plenty of caramel and some light notes of straw enhanced by coffee grounds and liquorice.

Finish: Lingering oak spices and syrupy winey notes.
